A few of us are preparing an installation for "American Dream", Burning Man '08, in response to the arson attack that Timeless' (Matthew Welter) '07 installation elicited. Here are some ways you can participate!
One burner has created a web site so u can learn all about the installation and possible theme-camp and check-up on our progress: www.timelesssculptures.com/thec....html We need a web-savvy burner to help, if not take-over as web-master, should Bill need to cut back (upcoming new baby!)
Timeless (the artist) needs a tech-wiz who can help him solve computer mysteries in a pinch. (Sjeeessh!)
The ultimate installation-proposal calls for the display of a trick artist’s conception, to include images of Burning Man art. We’ll need a super-fantastic graphic artist who wants to be noticed, to create that freedom-plaza image.
We're preparing a You-Tube clip. (Look for Bill’s clip on The Choice site soon, as well). We may need a digital-tweaking-and-editing-assistant.
Timeless is considering accepting a couple of new apprentices, to be in on this amazing adventure. Here's a chance to learn some valuable skills from a master. You may even be on the crew-list for the Installation...or attend Flip-side, in Texas this spring... (Dorm privileges available for respectful applicants)
We need networking addicts to feature this story on social networking sites, comments and blogs of their own choice. (This may boost your own networking efforts...) These can point to the Choice site, to encourage participation and these posts can include images and text from The Choice site. Aspiring writers are encouraged to write stuff, which may even be used on the official Choice site.
