The Staff here will ketch your eye, and the drinks will keep you coming back
Back in the day say about 9 to 10 years ago this place was realy nice, coming from NYC and SF this place was just what this Bohemian needed.
Over the years it has had it's up's and down's ....now it is still trying to find it's self in a small shit hole like Reno, but every so aftin some one comes to work there and brings a bit of light to the place ( this person I can not name) for they might only lightin up my day.....but go there and find the light you seek.

I love it
I love Java Jungle. It brings in tons of different types of people from Reno, and I think is one of the few things that shows a tad bit of culture in our small town. I do have to admit though, they do seem more money hungry then they used to be a few years ago. - desiree , posted 11/21/06

Java Jungle gets Juiced
Java Jungle, to those of us of yore, used to be a place of general, open-minded gathering. Go during Art Town, Wine Walk or any of the other overpopulated events and you'll realize it's not your "Mom and Pop" place anymore. It's there for the bucks, just not the ones joined with star. - Unsubscribed , posted 05/25/05

OPEN MIC
There's always a fun crowd Monday nights for Open Mic night. Anything is welcome...which might not always be a good thing! Starts at 8, but gets a little less crowded later on-which is nice since the place isn't that big. Great location on 1st right by the water! Sometimes on Sundays(and believe me I'm working more) drummers can be found in the circle outside the cafe! AHHHHH - k , posted 02/21/05
