I ended up eating lunch there on the drive in and the drive back from Burning Man 2005 and I must say the food is PHENOMENAL. I'm a complete omnivore and was especially craving meat on the way back (my friend had discovered BBQ Camp a couple of nights before we left)... However the Pneumatic Diner's food is SO dern tasty... It's one of those places that makes you think "I could become a vegetarian if I could eat like this ALL the time... Mmmmm" I strongly suggest DC's Pneumatic Calzone ($7.00) which is a Whole wheat tortilla with faux nards (special veggie non-meatballs), mushrooms, zucchini, red onion, spinach, red sauce, and baked with cheese. It had a marvelous flavor to it... If rules of decency hadn't kicked in I probably would have licked the plate. The ingredients are top-notch... the pesto makes me sigh just thinking about it... its one of those places that you almost feel ansy recommending just in case you end up having to wait for a seat next time...
